System Engineer

Systems Engineer A unique opportunity for an experience Systems-thinker to work within a Cyber Security environment for a multinational Aerospace company The role is directly responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of Product Security, delivering the independent assurance activities associated with airworthiness, product safety, product environmental sustainability and product security in a collaborative and supportive environment Location: Warton / Brough / Hybrid Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 bonus excellent bens. What you’ll be doing: Systems Engineer Working in the recently formed Product Integrity discipline to deploy and embed Product Security capability across the Air business Provide influence and advice pan-functionally and through-life across the full project lifecycle Support the management of any Product Security risks (financial and non-financial) at the Air level Facilitate Pan Functional Steering and Working Groups to evolve our Product Security strategy, throughout the business Provide Product Security support to Engineering Authorities/Directors, Product Technical Authorities and other senior leaders Support, encourage and enable Product Security Promotion activities – communications, engagement events, training and continuous improvements Ensure effective escalation and cascade of Product Security Reporting Your skills and experiences: Systems Engineer Essential: A degree in a STEM subject, ideally Chartered, equivalent qualification plus time served experience Experience of Systems Engineering within multiple programmes, platforms and/or services would be useful in the role as would experience and/or appreciation of Through Life aspects, (As Designed, As Built, As Maintained and As Operated) with demonstrable breadth of experience in the business Ability to communicate with all areas of the business Demonstrable experience of working on complex projects
