Role: Global Change Impacts Manager Rate: Up to 850/day Umbrella Contract: 12 Months This role can be fully remote in the UK, but the candidate must be able to travel to the office in London 1-2 times per month (and paid for at your own expense) This client is embarking on an exciting and significant business transformation programme underpinned by SAP S/4 HANA. Through this programme, the client aims to drive process, system and data standardization and simplification to create a competitive edge in the marketplace. This programme will be delivered over a multi-year period with global geographic reach. Within the Change Management team, the client is seeking a Global Change Impacts Manager who has relevant [function] experience to bring process / system / data understanding & insights and is an experienced practitioner in Change Management to identify and articulate the vision for Change and lead regional and local teams to transition and adopt new ways of working. This experience will include delivery involving cultural change, shift in mindset, functional & process change to transition to new ways of working underpinned by ERP technology. PURPOSE OF ROLE The Change Impacts Manager will be responsible for assessing, capturing & articulating the impacts that changes have on business & end-user multi-functional communities. These impacts will be assessed across multiple dimensions (process, system, data, behaviour) & lay the foundation for Communications & Engagement and Training mitigation activities. Leveraging their [Function] knowledge & expertise (function process / data / system knowledge), the Change Impacts Manager will be capturing the change impacts at a global level and providing a clear understanding of what is changing and how these changes can be mitigated e.g. through communications, training. The role will work with Regional Change Managers to ensure change impacts are regionalized / localised to provide more targeted change mitigation plans to land successfully & manage transition at the market level. This will require the role to hold regular briefings with Regional Change Managers, provide a global context on the changes, be able to create a big-picture view for the Regional Change Managers, help set the framework / approach to operate within and direct the Regional Change Managers through ambiguous situations. The Change Impacts Manager will coach / mentor functional subject matter experts who are also involved in change impacts capture. Outcomes will be achieved by working within the Global Change Team (comprising Change Impacts team, Communications & Stakeholder Engagement and Learning & Adoption), third-party service providers, Regional and Local Change and Deployment teams and/or representatives, Programme Leadership team and business stakeholders. The role can be located flexibly and from time to time, will require travel to other sites. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Working with external partners, understand and execute the framework and methodology to manage Change Impact and mitigation capture. 2. Partner Functional teams to identify and articulate the impact to end users and stakeholders to drive detailed Change Impacts Assessments. 3. In preparation for business readiness, convert identified change impacts into a workable global Change Action & Mitigation Plan, collaborating with third-party service provider to create appropriate content e.g. personas, change journeys, etc. Deliver global change mitigations and track delivery as required. 4. Support change activities to ensure end users are correctly mapped to user groups / personas, enabling targeted training and communications. 5. Engage with programme and business stakeholders, regionally and locally, in sharing and gaining feedback on Change Management plans, activities and goals. 6. Support the design and delivery of a structured and sequenced e Skills: ngagement and knowledge transfer plan for Change Network members to understand the changes driven by the programme. Work with vendor partners and programme change teams to identify Change Network capability needs and support the build and / or execution of a plan to upskill, train and build confidence. 7. Support the Change Network in translating global change impacts into local Change Impact Mitigation activities; equip Change Networks to own the changes and successfully make the transition to new ways of working as well as acting as their trusted escalation route. 8. If required, support the development of the reporting framework and provide effective reporting on Change Management activities, covering but not limited to progress reporting, Change Impacts Mitigation glide-path reporting, and risks & issues management, operating to governance standards. 9. Drive understanding of identified changes and their impacts across the wider Global Change team with the goal of ensuring an integrated approach to business stakeholders e.g. consistent messaging, tone, aligned training, etc. Build knowledge of the programme to anticipate and share opportunities and risks relating to the holistic change agenda. 10. Support the Change Leads in performing various activities in support of the programme. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Significant experience of 'business as usual' [function specific] roles and technology enabled technology & data transformations in complex, global, matrix organisations. 5 years' experience in Change Management with excellent skills in change impacts analysis and management of mitigations. Strong knowledge of Change Management best practices and ability to work successfully with various management levels. Track record of working with or managing third-party providers to steer, input and collaborate to achieve project goals as one team. Experience in delivering outcomes through a global Change network and/or supporting regionally and local teams. Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills and ability effectively convey business impacts to various audience groups to achieve alignment on change impact mitigation actions. Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and creating clarity through ambiguity. Ability to deliver high-quality, clear communications in compressed timelines. Strong experience of working in Agile methodology including roles, ceremonies, tools, terminology. Degree educated.
