Solutions Architect – Cloud Infrastructure - Bradford, Hybrid Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire with Hybrid Work Arrangements Salary: Up to £73,000, Plus Benefits Package (Car Allowance, Bonus, Excellent Pension) Our client, a leading organisation in the region, is looking for a talented Solution Architect specializing in Cloud Infrastructure to join their dynamic team. Demonstrating a strong commitment to leveraging technology for optimal performance, they are embarking on an ambitious initiative to invest in their technology infrastructure. Where You Fit In: As a Cloud Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will need to have a strong command of cloud technologies from both the hardware (provisioning) and software (consumption) angles. Experience across multiple cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is essential. Ideally, you will also have experience in integrating these platforms across Public and Private cloud environments. The role requires demonstrable experience in architectural design and implementation. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Architecture Models: Proficiency in using structured Architecture Models, such as TOGAF. AI and Data Engineering: In-depth understanding of AI algorithms, data engineering, and the Azure cloud computing platform. Azure Expertise: Strong knowledge of Azure services and tools, including Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks, Azure Cognitive Services, and Azure Bot Service. Cloud Platforms: Experience in architectural design across multiple cloud platforms, such as MS Azure, AWS, GCP, and SAP BTP. Cloud Architectures: Proven experience working with Public, Private, and Hybrid Cloud Architectures. Cloud Management: Familiarity with key Cloud Management Principles and Tools. Core Cloud Platform Knowledge: Detailed architectural understanding in areas such as: Cloud Compute, Virtualization, and Elastic Computing Cloud Storage (Object/Blob, Block & File) Machine Learning & AI Virtual Networking (VNETs, VPCs, ExpressRoute Direct, Connect, etc.) Availability Zones Scaling strategies (Scale-up vs. Scale-out) Scripting and Automation, with tools like Ansible and DevOps practices Cloud Services: Experience with IaaS (including networking, monitoring, and data recovery aspects), PaaS/Serverless Computing, and SaaS. Network and Security: Experience in Cloud Network Design and understanding of Cloud Security Principles & Cloud Adoption Frameworks. SASE Architecture: Familiarity with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) Architecture. Certifications: Must hold a Cloud Architecture Certification.
