Quality Assurance Lead

Quality Assurance Lead – Altrincham – Office-based / Hybrid Are you a motivated Lead Quality Assurance Tester to join a globally growing company based in Altrincham, where you will take ownership of building a robust testing framework? I would be keen to speak to you if you have experience with: Strong leadership capabilities with proven mentoring skills Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead QA Engineer In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices Demonstrated expertise in building automation frameworks Proficient in working with CI/CD pipelines and tools Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Day-to-day responsibilities: Write detailed test plans and test cases based on product requirements. Execute manual or automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the product. Ensure complete coverage of product features and functionalities. Coordinate the entire QA process, from initial planning through execution to final reporting. Make sure testing is aligned with release timelines and business objectives. Deliver regular progress reports, metrics, and summaries to stakeholders. Work closely with Product Management, Development, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and create acceptance criteria. Validate that all deliverables meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria before deployment. Design and implement a scalable and maintainable automated testing framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency. You'll integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for consistent and reliable testing while selecting and utilizing appropriate testing tools and technologies. Additionally, you'll develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression, performance, and security testing, ensuring the framework supports various testing types such as API, UI, and end-to-end testing.
