D365 Finance Functional Solutions Architect

Job Summary: As a D365 Finance Functional Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex finance and accounting solutions, leveraging the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and the development team to provide functional expertise and ensure the solution meets business requirements and aligns with best practices. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design & Architecture: • Lead the design and architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions, ensuring alignment with client business processes. • Provide expertise in finance-related functionalities such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Cash Management. • Develop and document detailed solution designs, functional specifications, and system architecture. • Translate business requirements into functional solutions and assist with the integration of D365 Finance with other systems. Client Interaction & Stakeholder Management: • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions. • Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and design reviews with client stakeholders. • Provide thought leadership and expert advice to help clients optimize their financial processes using D365 Finance. Implementation & Configuration: • Oversee and contribute to the implementation, configuration, and testing of D365 Finance modules. • Ensure proper integration between D365 Finance and other third-party applications, including CRM, HR, and supply chain systems. • Ensure data migration strategies and processes are sound and executed effectively. Team Leadership & Mentorship: • Provide guidance to junior consultants and other team members on best practices for D365 Finance implementation. • Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope, while maintaining the quality of deliverables. Continuous Improvement & Updates: • Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in D365 Finance, recommending improvements to current implementations. • Contribute to the development of solution templates, accelerators, and reusable assets for future projects. Documentation & Reporting: • Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, solution designs, test plans, and user manuals. • Provide regular project status updates and reports to senior management and clients. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance (F&O) implementations. Strong functional expertise in D365 Finance modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Banking. Proven experience in designing, configuring, and deploying end-to-end finance solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365. Experience with integration to third-party applications and data migration tools.
