If this sounds like a fit, we’d love you to be a part of it. About the Role: We are seeking a Senior Pension Software Testing Analyst to work within our Technology & IT Services Management team. We are looking for an organized, technical, and strategic, individual with experience in software testing environments. The position will play an important role in supporting internal systems by developing and executing testing plans for the pension administration and related systems, along with reviewing requirements for all modifications to the system. As the Newest Member of our Team, You’ll: Review defects and other requests from the CAAT ticketing system Test all defects and enhancements to the pension administration system including interfaces to external systems. Design and document the architecture of the testing environment including the maintenance schedule, data refreshes as well as software updates. Maintain the regression test bed and creates new test cases for various pension system modifications. Provide training support to staff on changes that have been promoted to the production system. Work closely with developers, to help articulate requirements. Tests all updates as they are delivered. Execute automated methods for testing the various functions of the pension system at all tiers. Uses automated testing software where possible for database tests, web application tests as well as Cognos tests. Maintain a comprehensive automated regression test plan for the core activities in the pension system such as Active Member Annual Statements, Retired Member & Surviving Spouse Statements, Cost of Living Adjustment calculations, Highest Average Pensionable Earnings calculation, Termination, Retirement and Death benefit calculations, LTD PA/T4A calculations as well as the complexities introduced by multi- employer, concurrent employment and deferred benefit calculations, among others. To Succeed, You Bring: University degree or college diploma in Computer Science or related field Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C#, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages. 7 years of previous experience in software testing environments (preferably in Pensions or Benefits) Experience and comprehension of various data mining/modeling tools Proficiency in Structured Query Language, Oracle and or Microsoft SQL Server databases, ETL methods for data transformation including scripting and/or programming Experience using automated regression testing tools such as Ranorex, MicroFocus/Borland Silk Test Suite, jUnit, Unified Functional Testing (HP) or similar platform Experience with Azure DevOps Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proactive problem solver, strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions. Openness to work on new technologies is mandatory.
