Lead Data Engineer £110,000-£120,000 ️ Snowflake, Python, dbt London, 2 days a week in office Heavy VC backing (Series B) We are partnered with one of UK's most exciting tech-for-good organisations operating in the ClimateTech space and supporting them on their search for a Lead Data Engineer. The role As the Lead Data Engineer you will drive the development of the data platform, leading a small team to achieve robust and reliable data infrastructure through the implementation of a datamesh architecture. What you'll be doing You will leading the Data Platform team under the guidance of the Head of Data Platform. You will build platform capabilities to enable easier data warehouse integration with both internal and external tools and services. You will collaborate with other teams to help them leverage Data Platform in their workflows while ensuring a consistent approach to data testing, versioning, and metadata management within our data mesh You will integrate with APIs to ingest data. What they are looking for Demonstrable experience in designing and scaling a Data Platform. Expertise with Python and SQL. Previous experience with Snowflake, dbt and Airflow highly preferred also. Passionate about solving complex data problems and interested in working with rich and diverse datasets. They'd like someone highly ambitious, motivated and eager to propel their career forward.
