Planon Consultant

I am Working alongside a top University in the South-East of England who are seeking an experienced Interim Planon Consultant to join their dynamic Estates Team on a 8-9 month contract working Remote. This role is is crucial for optimizing campus space management, streamlining facilities maintenance, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. They enable data-driven decision-making, enhance sustainability efforts, and support compliance with regulatory standards, ultimately improving operational efficiency and the student and staff experience. Responsibilities: Lead the deployment, customization, and configuration of the Planon software to meet client-specific needs, including space management, maintenance, and real estate modules. Manage the migration of data from legacy systems into Planon, ensuring accurate and seamless integration with other enterprise systems like ERP and BIM Provide comprehensive training to end-users, develop user guides, and offer ongoing technical support to ensure effective utilization of the Planon system. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including IT, facilities management, and academic departments, to align the system implementation with organizational goals Regularly review system performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement enhancements to optimize processes and maximize the value of the Planon solution. Qualifications: Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel Proven expertise in implementing, configuring, and managing the Planon Integrated Workplace Management System, particularly in higher education environments. Strong data management, system integration, and SQL skills, with experience integrating Planon with enterprise systems. Experience in leading large-scale IWMS projects, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
