Flywire Consultant

Overview : Burman is partnering with a prestigious university to implement Flywire, a leading payments enablement software designed to improve the payment experience for students, particularly for international transactions. This role will focus on overseeing the end-to-end implementation of Flywire, ensuring a seamless integration that enhances the efficiency, transparency, and cost-effectiveness of the university's payment processes. Key Responsibilities : Flywire Implementation : Lead the end-to-end implementation of Flywire, ensuring the system is fully integrated and operational within the university's existing financial and IT infrastructure. Stakeholder Engagement : Work closely with the finance and IT departments, engaging with key stakeholders on a daily basis to ensure the project meets the needs and expectations of all parties involved. Process Transformation : Drive the transformation of the university’s payment processes, making international payments easier, faster, more transparent, and cost-effective for students. Key Requirements : Experience : Proven experience in leading an end-to-end Flywire implementation within the higher education sector is essential. Technical Skills : Strong understanding of payment systems, with the ability to integrate software solutions effectively. Stakeholder Management : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including finance and IT teams. Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. Project Management : Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, with the ability to deliver on time and within budget. Desirable : Familiarity with the higher education sector's financial processes and systems. Experience in training and supporting staff in the adoption of new software systems. End Goal : To successfully implement Flywire, transforming the university’s payment process to make international payments easier, faster, more transparent, and cost-effective for students and other payers.
