Role; Integration Engineer Rate; £590/day Inside IR35 Duration; until 2026 Location; Remote with occasional travel as needed. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain integration solutions across multiple healthcare applications and systems, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability. Work closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to understand integration requirements and deliver technical solutions that meet business and regulatory needs. Develop and manage interfaces between key NHS systems such as electronic patient records (EPR), clinical systems, laboratory systems, and other third-party applications. Troubleshoot and resolve integration-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to services and patient care. Ensure compliance with NHS standards and security regulations, including data protection and confidentiality requirements. Collaborate with software vendors and other external partners to configure, implement, and optimize integration solutions. Document integration processes, workflows, and system configurations. Provide technical support and training to staff involved in integration projects. Key Skills & Experience: Strong experience in integrating healthcare IT systems, with a deep understanding of the NHS IT landscape. Proficiency in integration technologies such as HL7, FHIR, IHE, or other interoperability standards. Experience with integration tools like Mirth Connect, Infor Cloverleaf, or similar. Knowledge of NHS data and systems, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), Patient Administration Systems (PAS), and Clinical Information Systems (CIS). Understanding of health information standards, data exchange formats, and security protocols. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
