Who We Are Looking For We are seeking Investment Analytics Specialists with the right blend of data exploration, analytics development, quantitative methods, data science and financial markets knowledge to help us expand our fast-growing Data & Analytics practice, and to support the development of Brightstone’s proprietary AI & Analytics platform. The ideal candidate can square off with investment professionals and technology-oriented teams, speak their language seamlessly and shape the narrative in terms of next level analytics solutions. This is a client-facing delivery and internal platform development role. If you are applying from outside of the UK, we can facilitate remote working in the right circumstances. Responsibilities Co-create new analytics solutions with our clients ranging from quant finance, ESG & sustainability, manager oversight and other investment management decision-making insights Deliver machine learning and AI-focused client applications, such as data estimation, portfolio optimisation and generative AI solutions Design data engineering solutions that include building ingestion pipelines, optimising compute and storage, data modelling and developing business data products to ensure scalability of our solutions Take abstract investment ideas and turn these into tangible end-to-end solutions, accompanied with a delivery plan and iteratively create buy-in from key stakeholders and users Bring a passion to your team that encourages visibility and excitement for our solutions Competencies, Skills & Experience Successful candidates must have : Knowledge of financial data, ideally gained within the asset and wealth management industry In addition, candidates will have a number of the following competencies (not necessarily all of them): In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment management processes and econometric concepts Strong data exploration skills Proficiency in various programming languages to derive insights from large data sets (e.g. Python, SQL) Experience delivering solutions to solve complex analytical / technical problems and the ability to articulate the solutions in simple terms to a diverse audience Expertise developing practical ML and AI algorithms Experience working with data visualisation tools (e.g. Spotfire, Power BI or equivalent) or the ability to build your own custom visuals in React Experience managing and forging relationships with stakeholders, in particular Investment teams Relevant Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Quantitative Finance qualifications Relevant professional qualifications; CFA Charterholder / CQF (or equivalent) preferred
