Purpose of the Role This exciting field-based opportunity has arisen to join our Bravo Network Risk & Compliance (R&C) Team. You will manage the day-to-day activities of the Compliance Consultancy Team by ensuring member compliance consultancy services are delivered within agreed SLAs through oversight, management and development of the team, whilst operating as a subject matter expert. Nationwide travel will be required involving some overnight stays. Full UK driving licence is, therefore, required. What you will do This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities.Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following: Have a deep understanding of the Networks Proposition from strategy and objectives to operational infrastructure and performance and actively participate in shaping the vision. Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, efficient working methods and dedicated support. Support leadership by being flexible to developments, new tasks and additional allocated project work. Timely delivery of required member support services. Conduct reviews of Members regulatory processes and systems and controls, clearly articulating matters of concern and recommended or required actions in reports to the Member and monitor performance of remote file auditing. Log and tracking to closure Member actions that pose significant risk to the Bravo Network companies, identified through either member audits, member visits or otherwise. Provide consultancy support and guidance to Members, through visits and or requests for compliance support, helping to embed a compliant culture within Network Members and advising on general insurance regulatory requirements as well as delivering regular communications. Report on Network Member regulatory activity undertaken, including whether key controls are operating effectively and remedial actions Actively contribute to the achievement of team goals/objectives, embedding into the Networks approach to culture and methodology Achieve performance standards and objectives in line with agreed requirements Provide training, mentoring and coaching support to members of the team. Qualifications and Experience Extensive knowledge of the FCA and key regulatory regimes applicable to general insurance. Experience of working in compliance consultancy role within a general insurance intermediary. Comprehensive knowledge of best practice in compliance and control frameworks. This is an opportunity for an individual with high functional and technical knowledge and experience of the FCA regulatory environment together with strong leadership, relationship building, communication and time management skills. You will need to be an organised, focused proactive individual who is able to advise and train others on technical subjects and willing to accept accountability for team performance.
