ole Summary The Director of IT PMO, UK leads the management of GxP and Corporate Functional projects, providing oversight and line management to a team of UK-based project managers. This role requires strong leadership in a matrix environment, promoting best practices to ensure successful project delivery. The Director ensures project managers have the necessary tools, processes, and training to execute projects effectively, driving alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities People Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and business analysts. Manage hiring, onboarding, and career progression for UK-based resources. Act as a liaison between project management and other departments. Remove roadblocks to ensure smooth project delivery. Portfolio and Project Management Assign and monitor project work, ensuring timely completion. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with company goals. Allocate resources efficiently across multiple projects. Manage risks, escalations, and project progress, implementing mitigation strategies when necessary. Oversee the development and implementation of project management policies and methodologies. Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement. Experience 10 years in project management, including 3 years in GxP system implementations. 5 years in people management and vendor management. Budget management experience for portfolios over $3M. Qualifications Preferred: PMP or equivalent certification, Bachelor's degree, and other relevant certifications. Skills Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and pharmaceutical systems. Proven leadership in building high-performance teams. Flexible, adaptable, and experienced in managing multiple projects and timelines.
