Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Experience with vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement processes. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to data center operations and infrastructure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to manage and mitigate risks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Familiarity with data center security practices and compliance requirements. Work Location : Canada- New Brunswick Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead and manage end-to-end infrastructure data center projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocation. Provide technical guidance and expertise in data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical solutions and ensure alignment with business goals. Evaluate and review vendor performance / manage relationships with vendors and suppliers for data center hardware, software, and services. Review vendor contract deliverables, review SLAs, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to data center operations. Capacity Planning: Collaborate with capacity planning teams to ensure that data center resources meet current and future business needs. Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize resource utilization. Change Management: Implement and oversee change management processes to minimize disruptions to data center operations. Communicate effectively with stakeholders about planned changes and their impact. Infrastructure Security: Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain data center security measures. Ensure compliance with security policies and standards. Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for data center projects and operations. Track expenses and report on variances, making recommendations for cost optimization. Collaboration and Communication: Facilitate effective communication between technical teams, project stakeholders, and executive leadership. Present project updates, status reports, and technical information to diverse audiences. Act as the primary point of contact between the company and its clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of expectations on both ends. Provide consultative services on program execution and educate clients on virtual products and services. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Information Technology, etc.). Advanced degree or relevant certifications (PMP, ITIL, etc.) is a plus. Proven experience in managing large-scale data center projects, including design, implementation, and optimization. Strong technical background in data center infrastructure technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
