Field-Programmable Gate Arrays Engineer

Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for an FPGA Engineer to work for one of our clients based in Milton Keynes, UK. A Relocation assistance package is available. Are you a Senior FPGA Engineer looking for the next step up in your career within a truly challenging start up environment? Our client are passionate about developing leading-edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems. What will you do? In this position, you will be fully immersed in the challenge of progressing the design and development of FPGA circuits and systems through all phases of the development process. VHDL designs will include high-speed serial interfaces and data streams, digital processing cores, multiple clocks and clock domains, and management interfaces. You will also present design proposals to internal and external clients when they are ready. What skills and experiences should you have? Along with a problem solving, challenger mindset, you will have a number of years experience with FPGA design and verification VHDL (Verilog, HDL, Modelsim etc). Also, they use Python here and toolsets such as: Xlinux, Toolflow, Numerical libraries i.e. numpie. A background in wireless communications would be highly suited to this role.
