Gain hands-on experience, develop in-demand skills, and work alongside a supportive team - all while earning valuable qualifications that launch your IT career. As an apprentice you will be tasked with the maintenance of the trusts ICT Network and equipment, assisting in the installation of new and existing software across the network, provide technical support to all users of the network and much more Throughout your apprenticeship you will be closely supported by the Trust IT Manager and a specialist coach from Baltic Apprenticeships, they will be there to provide you with guidance and industry expert knowledge throughout your journey In this role, youll work towards your Level 3 Information Communications Technician delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Assist in the maintenance of the trusts ICT network and equipment. Assist in the installation of new and existing software across the network. Provide technical support to all users of the network. Assist in the installation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment. Support and promote the application and development of IT for learning and teaching. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: £12,314 per annum Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-3:30pm 27 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays Discounted gym membership Cycle to work scheme Free parking Access to the local Government pension scheme Commitment to ongoing CPD for staff Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of ICT hardware and software. Knowledge of common user applications, such as Microsoft Office. Organised and problem solving skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills. Ability to work accurately and methodically. Ability to use initiative and to work individually and as part of a team. Willingness to travel to, and work in the different school locations within the Trust. Your Training with Baltic: This apprenticeship provides the skills, qualification and experience you need to immerse yourself within an exciting, fast-moving industry and become an effective IT Technician.
