Senior Data & Insight Manager

Job Role: Senior Data & Insight Manager Location: Leeds Axi Recruitment is thrilled to be working with an established retail brand to assist with the search of a Senior Data & Insight Manager to join their E-commerce Team based at their HQ in Leeds. This is a new role which will be essential to the next stages of the businesses growth plans, with a key focus on using data to drive profitable growth across marketing, product and customer. As a Senior Data & Insight Manager, responsibilities will include: Lead an in-house analytics team, overseeing workload, personal development, and training. Transform Excel-based reports into user-friendly PowerBI dashboards for team self-service. Collaborate with all business functions (Marketing, Product, Finance, IT, Operations) to gather requirements and produce relevant reports. Design PowerBI reporting structures for easy access across all functions. Integrate third-party data (e.g., Media Providers, Delivery Suppliers) with internal data. Utilise data from Google Big Query, Google Analytics, and the Internal Data Warehouse for dashboard reporting. Create effective layouts using themes and report grids in PowerBI. Maintain all PowerBI reports, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility. Use PowerBI dashboards to deliver insights that support all business functions. Streamline and automate the reporting process to enhance dashboard usage. Train the team to maximize reporting impact and reduce ad hoc requests. Oversee web analytics (GA4), maintaining existing reports and conducting ad hoc analysis. Enhance digital and marketing channel performance through data modelling, attribution, and insights. Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders. The Person: 3 years experience using Power BI – Including developing data feeds & dashboard creation, automation and maintenance 3 years experience in an analytical role focused on driving insight and action Highly commercial with the ability to identify opportunities using data and insight Highly organised with excellent stakeholder management skills 3 years Google Analytics experience SQL / WPS experience Advanced Excel / MS Access Benefits: 25 days annual leave Flexi start time.
