Do you want to join in the fun of transforming the travel industry? Position: QA Engineer | Guest Mobile App Team What team will you be joining? As we continually look at new ways to enhance our customer journey, we're investing heavily in our Guest Mobile App. With the goal of creating a personalised travel experience for our Guests, we're currently building this team from scratch using React Native and upon joining you'll have a big part to play in the future of how our customers book and manage their holidays via our awaze network. What will your role be? Joining our engineering teams, you’ll join a culture which revolves around getting things done. We deliver with small, fully autonomous teams that have real ownership of their products using a cutting edge stack in a best-idea-wins meritocracy. We operate what we build – which means reliability is key and devops is part of every engineer’s job description. Take ownership of the testing strategy in the team Lead on testing best practices to build quality applications Pair and mob with our engineers Triage bugs and issues Drive continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software as well as value to end customers as early as possible Write automated tests to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are maintained Learn and adapt new technologies and introduce new testing tools to the project Contribute to continuous improvement of the group QA test strategy and process Be an active member of the wider tech community within Awaze Who are you? We’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer | SDET, experienced in various technologies who loves nothing more than solving problems in a collaborative, agile development environment. We expect our SDETs to work hand in hand with our Engineers and you'll therefore enjoy working in pairs (maybe sometimes a mob), your someone who thrives in an autonomous product engineering, and will offer experience in a number of the following: Writing automated tests for Mobile applications, API's and cloud platforms Modern test automation frameworks Technologies such as React Native, React, Typescript & Node Performance testing Modern development tools such as Git, Visual Studio Code etc. Cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Terraform Modern quality practices, such as pairing, TDD, BDD What will we offer you?
