We hope you will become a part of it Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled and motivated QA Team Lead / Manager to join our team for an 11-month contract. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance, leading a team of QA testers, and driving testing strategies for web and software applications. This position involves managing the QA team, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers to ensure effective execution of quality assurance processes. Provide guidance, training, and feedback to the team. Test Planning & Strategy: Collaborate with the product management and development teams to define testing requirements, create test plans, and design test cases for new and existing products. Test Execution & Reporting: Oversee the execution of functional, regression, and performance tests, ensuring that results are documented clearly. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing scripts and frameworks to streamline testing efforts and improve test coverage. Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through the defect management process. Work closely with developers to ensure defects are resolved in a timely manner. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the QA processes and suggest or implement changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure successful product delivery. Risk Management: Act as a risk manager to highlight potential issues and risks in the QA cycle and escalate them to the appropriate teams. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7 years of Proven experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing tools, and best practices. Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (functional, end-to-end, regression, performance, etc.). Familiarity with performance testing tools . Expertise in API testing (Postman, REST Assured) and database testing (SQL, Snowflake). Experience with defect-tracking tools such as Jira or similar. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and work under tight deadlines. Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or similar. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
