Air Traffic Engineer – £47,683 - £52,426 depending on skills and experience plus 11% bonus. Based in Warton, Preston. Pension & Enhanced Leave allowance of 25 days plus bank holidays available. Required experience: Essential: Engineering qualification to HNC level or equivalent. Experience in fault investigation and rectification and be familiar with telecommunications test equipment. A good understanding of Windows and Linux plus network and data communications knowledge would be beneficial. Experience using some, or all of the following equipment: Instrument Landing System Distance Measuring Equipment Primary Surveillance Radar Secondary Surveillance Radar Non-Directional Beacon Direction Finder Radio Transmitters and Receivers Voice Communication Control System My client are a large and rapidly expanding global Defence company looking for an Air traffic Engineer responsible for the maintenance, fault investigation and repair of a wide range of communication and navigational systems used in Air Traffic Control.
