Job Title: Strategic Program Implementation Manager Location: Ontario, Canada- Remote Duration: 12 months Contract with possible extension Pay Rate: $78.00 CAD per hour on W2/T4 Only W2/T4 1st Round: Phone screening with HM 2nd Round: Resource will be sent a case study an hour prior to the 2nd round interview to complete Job Description: Top 3 Skill Sets: This is a Strategic Program Manager role focused on high-level planning, not day-to-day involvement in every project. The candidate will bring a strategic mindset to guide the direction of specific products and initiatives. A strong understanding of program and project management principles is essential. Must align and support the strategic goals of the overall portfolio, as well as individual programs and projects. This role is specifically being filled to support and enhance the merchant onboarding process. The organization offers a variety of tools and services to merchants—including different solutions for those who sell to merchants—and this role will help streamline how those are presented and adopted. The Strategic Program Manager will be responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding experience, providing the necessary information and aligning all involved teams. A solid understanding of both business processes and underlying technologies will be critical to the success of this role. Additional Considerations: Provide strategic insights and goals based on generic descriptions or case studies. Understand strategic risks and contribute to strategic planning and product roadmaps. Assist executive leadership in communicating strategic goals and managing strategic risks. Collaborate effectively with PMO organizations, applying best practices for interaction with leadership teams and stakeholders. Work closely with product owners, cloud technicians, project managers, developers, and quality teams across all project phases. Employ strategic program management to align initiatives across various departments and functions. Track project metrics and outcomes without direct management responsibility over them. Familiarity with PPM tools, particularly experienced with Planview or similar tools for portfolio management. Manage multiple projects concurrently, applying Agile (Jira) or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate.
