Cloud Service Compliance Analyst Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for a Cloud Service Compliance Analyst with extensive cloud technology knowledge, strong regulatory and compliance standards experience, and the ability to take end-to-end projects to place at our client, a Big Five Bank. Client: Big Five Bank Terms : 8-monthContract. Location: 1-day per week, Downtown Toronto Job Description: Conduct reviews of cloud services to identify areas of risk, select such services for stakeholders’ assessment and document findings in a centralized location Coordinate meetings and take minutes throughout stakeholders review and approval process of cloud services and maintain documentation currency as new updates are available. Follow up on outstanding reviews and approvals with relevant teams to meet the requirements of the Bank Standards Work cross-functionally within the Bank to identify new cloud services for customers and align them to the overall goals of the cloud services Identify and report on gaps in the cloud services catalogue and billing and develop action plans to address them. Provide periodic feedback as the new cloud services are added for use in the Bank. Propose changes or improvements to the existing cloud services cataloguing process Participate in the development of metrics to monitor various Standards and report on the compliance status of the Standards Review and analyze recurring compliance issues and communicating findings to the relevant stakeholders Assist in developing dashboards to showcase key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs) of cloud services compliance posture to management Maintain robust data control around relied-upon information to ensure the integrity of the process needed to support compliance monitoring and reporting. Manage small projects end-to-end by integrating stakeholders’ needs, adapting to changes and resolving any issues as they arise. Liaise with other risk and compliance managers within the Bank to understand changing regulatory requirements Reconcile previous engagement reports with relevant compliance managers and report on new statuses as needed Perform other general administrative functions within the cloud services team as assigned Utilize JIRA to manage compliance related tasks and monitor workflows through to completion Key Qualifications: Strong knowledge of common cloud technologies and platforms Strong analytical skills to analyze risk requirements and relate them to measurable metrics for easy tracking of success Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional disposition Excellence verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various teams within cloud services Strong organizational, time management and prioritization ability Knowledge of Financial Institutions Standards and processes will be an asset Strong administrative, analytical and problem-solving skills Committed to working in a fast-paced environment with a keen eye on continuous improvement Strong knowledge of O365 will be an added advantage Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines Experience with utilizing Jira 3 years of professional experience is an asset.
