Solutions Architect Location : London/Manchester The Opportunity : A Tier One Technology Consultancy seeks an influential Solutions Architect to support complex Digital/Technical Architecture Transformation programs - from CXO engagement to project delivery. The Role : • As a Digital/Technology SME, your strategic thought leadership will be showcased by developing Architecture Roadmaps and enhanced by a profound commercial/business acumen. • Your expertise will extend to a comprehensive understanding of emerging technologies and architectural trends, including IoT, Microservices vs Packaged Solutions, Cloud vs On-premise, Digital Transformation enablement, Cloud architectures, and the pivotal role of architects in Agile Delivery. • This holistic mindset positions you to drive strategic thinking within architectural frameworks and navigate the dynamic technology landscape, ensuring a forward-looking approach to delivering innovative solutions. Essential Skills & Experience : • Senior Digital & Technology Architect with over ten years in IT consulting and delivery. • Expert in Enterprise Technology Architecture, spanning Cloud, Application, Integration, Security, IT Strategy, Consulting, and Delivery. • Extensive leadership experience, including leading teams of architects and engineers. • Strong technical foundation with previous software engineering/development background. • Proficient in delivering strategic thinking through roadmaps, mentoring, and technical thought leadership. • Specialised in solution options assessment, including product selection and pattern analysis. • Utilises architecture modelling tools and frameworks like UML, TOGAF, and ArchiMate. • Excellent communication skills for eliciting business requirements and building strong stakeholder relationships. • Prioritises tasks effectively, aligning with Agile Sprint cycles to deliver timely results. • Demonstrates robust problem-solving abilities to mitigate risks and ensure project success. • Flexible in assuming multiple roles throughout the project life cycle, fostering cross-functional development in agile environments. • Initiative-driven with a positive attitude, tackling new challenges independently or collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals.
