DV Cleared Software Engineer (Defence) £50,000 - £75,000 London Anson McCade are currently working with a cyber security and defence organisation who are currently in search of DV Cleared Software Engineers to join their security teams. You’ll play a vital role in the delivery, planning and management of projects within National Security, keeping the UK and allies safe. Required experience of the DV Cleared Software Engineer: • Proficient in multiple programming languages, such as Python, SQL, JavaScript, Java, Scala, C, and C++. • Knowledgeable in cloud architecture, with experience in AWS, GCP, or Azure. • Experienced in building and deploying pipelines using modern tools like AWS CodePipeline, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins. • Skilled in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices. • Proficient with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes. • Strong understanding of the end-to-end data lifecycle, covering engineering, data science, quality, analytics, and business intelligence (BI). • Experienced with AWS CDK and EKS. • Familiar with OpenSearch, NiFi, and Spark. • Knowledgeable in Zero Trust Architecture and related practices. The Software Engineer package: • £50,000 - £75,000 (DOE) • Discretionary company bonus • Company pension • Wider benefits package (healthcare, medical care) Candidates must hold either UKIC or MOD Developed Vetting Clearance to be eligible. This must be active and demonstrated by a history of UK Government, Intelligence or Defence backgrounds.
