SAP Project Manager A position has arisen within the Industrial team in the UK to support a SAP transition programme. Collaborating with internal process experts, international colleagues, and suppliers, this role will coordinate tasks and activities as part of a larger programme of work. Salary : Circa £50,000 depending on experience Location : Bolton Dynamic (Hybrid) Working : 2 days per week on-site due to workload classification The Company : Our client is a leading defense organisation, proud of their role in supporting the Armed Forces who protect our nations. The Opportunity : As part of the Information Management (IM) department, the Information Systems (IS) team delivers IT solutions across various business domains. This organisation are transitioning from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA across the group, impacting several domain areas and offering an opportunity to enhance and consolidate existing tools. As a SAP Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring data migration, integrity, and key functionality are consistent throughout the SAP ecosystem. This is an ideal role for a confident, driven self-starter who brings innovative ideas to the table. Responsibilities : • Project and task management for aspects of the SAP transition programme • Capturing new SAP requirements and building a portfolio of prospective changes • Acting as a key point of contact for the manufacturing user community • Managing suppliers to deliver continuous improvements and change • Collaborating with international teams to share information and best practices Requirements : Necessary : • ERP experience, including MRP/Production Planning, Production execution, and Manufacturing Master Data • Ability to travel within the UK and Europe if required Desirable : • A positive attitude and capability to work in high-pressure and challenging environments • Excellent organizational skills • Team player with the ability to motivate others • Experience in requirements capture, process mapping, and presenting solution options to stakeholders • Experience in the defense or public sector Benefits Package: • Company bonus of up to £2,500 (based on company performance, varies year to year) • Pension with a maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14% • Paid overtime • Up to 15 additional days of flexi leave • Enhanced parental leave up to 26 weeks for maternity, adoption, and shared parental leave • Fantastic site facilities, free car parking, and gym on-site at Stevenage • Excellent career progression and development opportunities For further information, feel free to reach me at 02895213213, or simply apply Reference: AMC/RKI
