Full Stack Developer Location: London – Hybrid Employment: Full Time All applicants must hold a DV (Developed Vetting) clearance to apply. The Opportunity: For the UK Government, maintaining National Security is a 24-hour-a-day, 365-day-a-year mission. To support these complex operations, the MoD partners with this Big4 Firm to empower critical thinking and drive value across its strategic initiatives and technology investments. The Role: As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll design, build and deploy innovative web applications for the UK’s Defence, Intelligence, and Military Agencies. Collaborating with a talented multifunctional team, you’ll strive to create responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies and frameworks while developing secure/efficient server-side logic and maintaining well-documented RESTful APIs for seamless system communication. Required Skills/Experience: British Passport Holder with active DV (Developed Vetting) Clearance. Previous Defence, Military, Policing, National Security, Counter Terrorism, or Justice Project involvement. Proficient in modern front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. Strong skills in server-side logic using Node.js, Python, or Java Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modelling for government applications. Proficient in analysing and solving complex issues for public sector challenges. Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements in the dynamic public sector environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration in cross-functional teams. Familiarity with government processes, policies, and systems to tailor solutions to public sector needs. Understanding of UX principles to create accessible and user-friendly applications. Proven ability to develop and maintain well-documented RESTful APIs. Implementing security best practices for government data.
