About the position The E-Learning Coordinator, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery provides administrative and technical support for the delivery of synchronous and asynchronous online education for frontline staff in long-term care across the province. Responsibilities include e-learning course management, supporting the technical aspects of hosting live online workshops in Zoom, online survey administration and reporting, technical support and developing instructional materials to support program accessibility, as needed. This role collaborates closely with the U-First® facilitators and the Program Coordinator, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery to ensure smooth program operations. This role reports to the Manager, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery. Title: E-Learning Coordinator, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery Salary range: $50,000 - $56,000 per year Contract: Temporary until September 30, 2027 (3 year grant-funded term position) Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week Location: Hybrid – This position requires the ability to work out of our Vancouver provincial office when needed. Key responsibilities • Online and e-learning operations: • Maintains and administers all aspects of the Society’s Learning Management System (LMS) for the purpose of delivering asynchronous U-First® training and operationalizing the U-First® online learning centre, including but not limited to setting up course cohorts, managing gatekeeping activities throughout the three-week course and setting up registration for the live e-learning webinar. • Organizes Zoom meetings and supports U-First® facilitators with the delivery of live, online education workshops by managing the technical components of the workshop delivery in Zoom (e.g. screen sharing, managing breakout rooms and polls). • Provides administrative and program support when the Program Coordinator, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery is absent. Technical and user support: • Provides technical support to learners before, during and after the education workshop and e-learning course, ensuring all learners have access to their online course in the Society’s learning management system. • Provides logistical and technical support for registration and program webpages. • Develops and maintains systems for tracking the frequency of technical issues and records notes on resolutions. • Develops and maintains internal and external instructional materials to help learners, facilitators and other users of the learning management system to navigate the course and online platform (e.g. tutorial videos, user guides, etc.). Data management: • Administers the post-workshop feedback survey for all modalities (in-person, live online and e-learning) and produces regular summary reports for the Manager, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery and U-First® facilitators on survey responses. • Collaborates with the Program Coordinator, Health-Care Provider Education Delivery to maintain accurate program statistics and ensure smooth program delivery. • Provides continuous monitoring and reporting on engagement metrics for the U-First® online learning centre. • Other duties as required to meet the Society’s organizational goals. About you You have post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as instructional design, online education or business administration. You are meticulously organized with strong attention to detail. You work well with a team but are also able to take initiative and work independently. You care about our mission and will consistently deliver results with integrity and respect. Key qualifications • 1-3 years of experience working in an online learning environment. • Demonstrated experience working directly with adult learners or providing direct client support. • Experience working in the social service, health or non-profit sector is an asset. • Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail and ability to balance prioritize competing priorities. • High technical literary and demonstrated ability to learn new software systems efficiently. • High degree of professionalism. • Ability to take initiative, work proactively and prioritize multiple competing demands. • Committed to teamwork and continuous improvement. • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills. • Ability to manage a diverse and demanding workload. • Must be able to lift boxes up to 15 lbs. • Able to travel to regional and provincial meetings, as required. • Able to work occasional evenings and weekends, as required. Flexibility with regards to scheduling is expected. Technical qualifications • Familiarity with learning management systems. • Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programs (Teams, Outlook, OneNote, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Zoom. • Familiarity with registration software, such as Eventbrite, is an asset. • Familiarity with contact relationship management systems (client databases) is an asset.
