Senior Storage Engineer

Senior Storage Engineer - Global FinTech company Permanent - Hybrid working - London, UK We are working with a leading FinTech firm who need a highly skilled Senior Storage Engineer to join their Global infrastructure team. This role will focus on designing, optimizing, and maintaining high-performance storage systems that support their large-scale computing and research workloads. The ideal candidate will work closely with their research and trading teams to ensure their infrastructure meets the demanding needs of AI/ML-driven research and high-frequency trading. Skills & Experience 8 years of experience in storage systems administration and platform engineering. Deep understanding of storage protocols, including Posix-compliant filesystems, NFS, CIFS, and S3. Expertise in high-performance networking, including kernel bypass, ROCE, and InfiniBand. Proficiency in Python, Golang, or similar programming and scripting languages. Strong analytical skills with a focus on system performance tuning and benchmarking. Experience working with AI/ML research infrastructure is highly desirable. Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, directly engaging with research and trading teams.
