Senior Disaster Readiness Quality Manager

Then this is the role for you Akkodis is partnered with one of the Canada's leading North American Banks to recruit a Senior Disaster Readiness Quality Manager to join their Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity (DR / BCM) team here in Toronto. They are seeking someone who thrives at the intersection of IT recovery, risk mitigation, and quality assurance. What you'll be doing: Design and lead a repeatable quality assurance program for disaster recovery procedures and documentation (recovery plans, runbooks, and playbooks). Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure all recovery documentation & procedures meets regulatory and internal standards. Define and track success criteria, risks, and improvements for readiness efforts. Research and embed industry best practices to continuously elevate recovery readiness across the organization. What you'll need: Must-haves: Proven experience in quality assurance, documentation governance, and/or operational risk. Hands-on experience with disaster recovery planning and execution, ideally related to quality assurance and management of disaster recovery readiness plans. Working knowledge of IT infrastructure: cloud, virtualization, storage, networking, databases. Strong communication skills — able to drive clarity across both technical and business stakeholders at all levels. Nice-to-Haves: Relevant Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity or Cyber Security certifications such as DRI international, BCI, or CISSP, CRISC, etc. Familiarity with financial services regulations related to business continuity. Experience working with ServiceNow for DR/BCM processes.
