Akkodis is currently searching for a Senior Developer for our Crown Corporation client within the Ottawa, Toronto, Halifax, and Montreal area. Job Description: Author technical specification documents and diagrams for client’s platforms and custom developed applications. Participates in system architecture and design and technical decisions (technologies, frameworks and tools selection). Completes application development projects according to SDLC best practices. Conducts code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and design best practices and help resolve technical issues. Ensures that documentation is created and maintained for architecture, design, development and deployment processes. Collaborates with various stakeholders (product owners, scrum masters, other technical teams, etc.) to ensure technical aspects align with business goals. Experience Required: Strong experience (5 years as a front-end developer in the following tech stack: .Net (C#), ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, Azure Function App, Kubernetes, and Microservices. Experience developing in a Microsoft Azure/Cloud environment. Experience with an API Development Environment. Demonstrated experience in software delivery lifecycle and in software development at scale best practices. Experience with agile practices, techniques, tools, and standard practices. Additional Requirements: Ideal candidate must possess an active Level 1 - Reliability Security Clearance with the Government of Canada, or be eligible for Reliability Clearance (5 years in Canada). Bilingual is an asset. Azure Certification is an asset.
