Working on a product that has a user-first focus, which is used globally. You'll work remotely and meet up once a quarter The role: 60-70% hands-on and the rest leading a team of 4 (1 Staff Engineer, 2 Seniors and 1 Junior). Working with the product manager, making technical decisions and challenging them. Running code reviews, paired programming, technical design and helping the team deliver effectively. Driving high performance within the team. Improving performance and knowledge. Simplifying the architecture and improving scalability. You can lead the team formally. If you wish this can be done informally and the Engineering Manager can do the formal leading. Your experience: A Software Engineering Lead who has led individuals remotely, whilst remaining hands-on. Experience with Node.JS and TypeScript. Ideally, you will have frontend experience with Angular, React etc. Working with product, driving changes and explaining technical trade-offs. Experience working with Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and Single Page Applications (SPA). You empower engineers to push to production on their own using CI/CD. You and your engineers push to prod weekly, ideally daily. Experience with AWS Lambda for serverless computing is highly desirable Ideally, you have worked with UX Design Teams.
