Your Next Challenge As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will join a young team of Data experts in Belfast. They build tools and platforms for EverQuote’s Data Analysts and Scientists. If you like challenging problem-sets with no “off the shelf” solutions – this could be the role for you They recently added an Architect and Principal Engineer to the team, so you’ll be surrounded by experienced colleagues and learn by osmosis. Your Skills Aspirations The Senior Backend Engineer role requires a strong Software Engineering background (ideally in a data-heavy context). They’re agnostic when it comes to language background (Java, C++ etc), but you’ll be using Python for most projects. You are a ‘data-centric’ software engineer who loves to wrangle data and build & maintain data platforms. You’re inquisitive, like to get to the heart of problems and come up with innovative solutions. (SKILLS) -Python Go, Java, Kotlin or other server-side languages -SQL -AWS What are they offering?
