Functional Consultant - D365 Business Central Location: UK-based, primarily remote with occasional travel to client sites. Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 DOE Contract Type: Permanent Overview of the Role We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant to join a growing team, specializing in delivering solutions for clients using a leading business management software platform. In this position, you will play a key role in implementing, optimizing, and supporting this software solution for a diverse client base. The team places a strong emphasis on innovative technologies and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities Work closely with clients to gather and document business requirements. Design and configure business management software to meet client needs. Maintain system documentation, including functional specifications and test scripts. Configure the platform to client specifications and ensure optimal performance. Provide training and support to end users. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery on time and within budget. What We're Looking For Essential Skills and Experience At least 3 years of experience working as a Functional Consultant with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or business management software. Expertise in the configuration and implementation of various modules within the software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients effectively. Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites. Desirable Skills and Experience Experience translating business requirements into system configurations. Knowledge of manufacturing or job functionality deployments. Industry experience in sectors such as food & beverage. Familiarity with data migration and system integration projects.
