YouTube on iPhone

Hello,

I have pages with YouTube videos that used to display fine on the iPod / iPhone but suddenly they don’t show up. Instead there is a black screen.

Any idea why is that ?

I think it’s highly unlikely that the embedded flash object for the YouTube player has worked previously on the iPhone, since the iPhone has never supported flash.

I’m talking about the video on the page, the YouTube one, with the <object> tag. It works fine on my iPod Touch and iPhone. But not on the iPod of my friend. Maybe it is his Safari cache…

The youtube videos should work on iPhone, as youtube is aware of iPhones and stream the videos appropriately. I will give that link a try on my iPhone a bit later and let you know what I find.

Thanks NightStalker-DNS, the link and video works fine on my iPod, but not on my friend iPod. He has the same as mine, and the videos used to work on his too. But suddenly they don’t.
Note that if he goes to the YouTube website then the video works fine.
the issue shows up when he goes to the link in question with the embedded video.
