Your opinions on Yodle, and services like Yodle

I’m looking at possibly implementing Yodle for a client, but I’m nervous after reading discussions like [URL=“http://www.davidpirek.com/blog.aspx?n=Is-Yodle.com-is-a-scam?”]this one.

We are already tracking inquiries with Google Analytics goals, but we want a way to track which inquiries resulted in a sale and which did not. I understand that Yodle provides this, but it also looks like they may mark up their Adwords and generally charge too much for too little.

Here’s what I would like to know:

  1. If you have used Yodle, what is YOUR opinion?
  2. Is there a comparable service you can recommend?

Ideally, I’d like some kind of a plugin or addon for Google Analytics, since all our data is already being logged in there.

Thanks!

Yodle has been there to answer anything for me. I’ve never had a problem with the system. I’ve always seen results. Everyone I’ve dealt with has been extremely responsive. What I like best about Yodle is the traffic that they bring to my site and to my phones and the fact that they have brought a whole new type of clientele to me, and I run a bail bonds company. I get about 40-50 leads a month and Yodle accounts for about 15% of that, which is much more than I was getting before.
