Heya guys m here coz want to ask what the hell is going out with Alexa ?? There is no update of backlinks from last one month. M regularly checking backlinks but i noticed this so asking you here. Any ideas regarding to this guys ???
Why does it matter? Alexa is irrelevant.
I wouldn’t recommend checking it so much for that. It’s not really useful anyway to use unless you are planning on building an advertising page to use it for. Good luck!
huh? I assume you are talking about the Alexa ranking? That is NOT what the OP was asking about.
When I was talking about building the advertising page, it was mainly about rank, however when I was talking in the beginning it was mainly about the backlinks. However, backlinks could also be a good advertising point for your site.
And what has that got to do with the OP’s question? (or you just spamming here to link drop your signature?)
I’m sorry if you saw it like that. The OP’s question was about no update in backlinks in the last month and what’s up with that. My point to them was that their really is no point in spending your time constantly checking that anyway, and seeing how often they update it. I wouldn’t think alexa to do regular updates anyway, similar to how google takes a long time to update anyway. That was my general point that it’s not advantageous to constantly check for it anyway so they shouldn’t worry about it.
Well, there are some out there who consider Alexa as a way of knowing if a site’s doing well or not. There’s only a few of them out there, though. I wouldn’t say that it’s completely useless. It’s just that there aren’t a lot of people using it, and looking into the more important factors of traffic would be a much better use of one’s time rather than thinking too much about the Alexa Rank.
Backlinks from Alexa are links to your site from sites visitted by users in Alexa panel traffic, links from sites that not visitted by users in Alexa traffic panel will not be counted as backlinks.
I thinks you should focus on backlinks counted by Google not Alexa cause backlinks in Alexa seem not to affect to your keyword rank in SERPs

alexa doesn’t show the actual backlinks created by you, only alexa have those backlinks of your website that is mostly visited, but those backlinks that is not visited by any user is not counted in alexa.
