I’ve installed a theme into Wordpress for a client.

We’re having a bit of an issue with a ‘pause’ when the URL for each page is loading.

I’ve installed caching plugins, minified js and CSS, and reduced the database queries as much as I can, but i can’t find a reason for the delay.

I moved the javascript to the footer to test but that made no difference.

I’m aware that Woothemes have quite a lot of bloat, but in this case I can’t identify what’s causing the issue.

This is an unscientific opinion, not measured fact, but it seems to load much more quickly with Javascript disabled, so perhaps that’s where your problem lies. Hope that helps. Javascript is not my forte, so I’m afraid that’s the best I can offer.
