Why my Author box does not shown on wordpress edit post?

hi friends

i need your help, i ve one problem regarding my wordpress CMS, i ve website toptensthings.com i ve installed wordpress, its has been 6th month, i ve not see Author box in edit post or even add new post… even i reinstalled wordpress, i could not able to restore it yet, i changed themes to check as well. But i ve not get it. kindly tell me, how i can fix it

Which version of WordPress are you using?

Try adding one test user and see if it appears for the new test user or not?

i ve wordpress 3.3.1 version

and i ve more then 5 users , i cant see author box :frowning:

In the screen settings is the author box checked?

Have you installed any plugins recently as the “Screen Options” tab is standard in all WordPress installations.

Hi,

My friend when you click on Add New Post the screen options appear on just below the toolbar. Recheck the ‘Author’ option it is checked or unchecked, if it is unchecked then check it the Author Box will reappear.

friends i new wordpress version updated on my site, now author box is showing :slight_smile:
