Why Mobile website is important.

Now-a-days, 90/100 people are using mobiles, tabs. Recently some of surveys done on website traffic, a Rising Web-traffic from Mobiles. In future, we get more traffic from Mobiles than desktop.

That’s the reason to important of having Mobile friendly website.

Depends on the context of the application. There are many situations where mobile isn’t necessary because you are building for an audience who uses desktop. Typically, these are internal application that has closed audience. So, in this case the effort to do mobile would be a waste.

To build responsive site isn’t difficult but testablity effort multiplies by 3~4x. That’s probably the most annoying part. For public site, then it’s absolutely critical to be responsive unless you plan to have native mobile apps.

Now a days, 90%-95% people use smart phone, tablets for their convenience.
If your website is not mobile friendly then mobile user cant access your website properly. They face too much trouble for CTA buttons, form filling, pop-up, etc. As the result you fail to achive your targeted audience and generate lead to your business.

There is one more reason beside what everyone already mentioned here - google gives priority to mobile friendly websites on the search results.

nowadays everyone wants information and services and they want them fast. this has been made possible through mobile phones. Mobile phones are the most personal form of communication. the importance can hence be summarized in points below.

One feature that would be awesome would be able to install Web Bookmarks as app on android/ios. All it does will be to open a browser with specified URL. I really doubt it would happen but absolutely great feature to have.

  1. mobile 8,904 (52.97%)

  2. tablet 1,664 (9.90%)

  3. desktop 6,241 (37.13%)

Looking at it google just created AMP pages which make mobile website loads fast even with a 2G connection, this isn’t supported by desktop only for mobile websites
