You are making a judgement on Google’s algorithm based on your subjective feelings that you want to be in the top ten. Try being objective. For example, the “coolnamehere” domain has 160K+ backlinks while “reboltutorial” has 32K+
Google algorithm bad? hhhmmmmm…?? Google become the number one search engine on the web and its market share recently increased … why is that??? … maybe because searchers are able to find what they are looking for … does that not show that Google’s algorithm is really really good.
If the ranking algorithm was bad, then Google’s marketshare would decrease…
IMHO, I think you may be being a bit unrealistic. You come up 2 + 3 for “rebol tutorial” which is what the site’s all about after all. So not being in the top 10 (#13, which isn’t bad) for “rebol” would be like me wanting my site which comes 1, 2, + 3 for “mittineague park”, to also do well for “park”.
So you believe that the Google algorithm is irrational? Be careful not to let the shareholders catch wind of that, the company could go bankrupt!
As it was mentioned in your previous post, your ranking is based on hundreds of factors and you’re using a subjective analysis of 2 or 3 factors to discount the entire Google algorithm.
I agree with Mittineague. You based your comment subjectively. You hate google because you don’t have a good ranking while you believe you did your best. You have to check first your site well. Are you sure that those top sites that are linked to you are related to yours? Or are sure that those links are all in dofollow?
If you really believe that your site deserves a higher rankings, I suggest to just continue what you’re doing and wait till google ranks it. SEO work needs time. Sometimes, it will take more than 3 months before you see the result.
