Why does Windows have to reboot when you upgrade Java?

For all we know windows 10 tries to do a FORCED upgrade to Windows 10 “Creator” - and when java is upgraded windows have to reboot.

The last Java upgrade I had - just a couple of days ago, I think - didn’t require a reboot for me.

I just updated Java on my Win10 laptop - no request to reboot here.

Windows is a strange fella like that. If you tell it not to do something, it does what you don’t want it to do. When you tell it to do something, it doesn’t do what you want it to do.
