I stopped supporting IE6 a few years ago, but I still make sure my sites work in IE7+. Like many people have said before, I don’t bother making it pixel perfect for the lower versions, just not-broken.
I want to stop supporting IE7, because it is a pain, but I’ve still got a decent amount of clients who use it - mostly in large corporations tied to a single older OS, where users don’t have install privileges. There’s zero point making a beautiful website that works in standards compliant browsers if the wesbite owner can’t see it!
