IMO Social Bookmarking
Bookmarking your own site is not SEO, let alone effective SEO. Good SEO effort would result in many real people bookmarking you, and linking to you, generating far more links than you can acquire by putting your own URL in random boxes across the web. Nor is it convincing to Google that your site is actually well regarded by anyone if its backlinks are primarily from sites the owner can easily add links to himself.
