You must have missed the thread about how Apple laptops are the best. 
I can’t remember any “post your funniest jokes” threads.
Anyway, I’ve used both and I’ve not had a problem with either brands. The best advice I can give you is to check the specs and check reviews on the model of laptop you’re buying. If the laptop has been around for longer than a month or two most reviews will have valuable information regarding what it’s like to live with that laptop.
I had quite a few (not apple ) like fujitsu, toshiba, acer, asus and hp - and I must say that Asus is the only brand I feel I get along with, this is also the only brand I buy now, when it comes to laptops - the worst laptops i’ve had has to be acer.
The knobs fell out of the keyboard, the pad had some trouble, battery had to be replaced, power supply had to be replaced, the power jack went loose, had to send it back several times as some parts always needed to be replaced
In the unlikely event of Ravi12 coming back to reply I will leave the thread open.
For the record, the only laptops I buy are Acer’s cos I love em!
Your question is very general question. Tell me your requirement. What purpose you are going to use the laptop? Brand is essential… However, first you should clearly specify your requirement.
Your specs should really be taken into consideration here. Check both the specs of Acer and Asus then compare what will work best to you. You can still check for other brands which you think might be of interest.
I think Acer is best.
