Nortan ghost is the best, as far as I’m concerned
Recently I came across a software acronis software for back-up and it was quite good, it can back-up your drivers as well !
Personally I have been using Timeline Cloud for a while now and am more than happy. I did a lot of research after cancelling my subscription with Carbonite who lost their customers data in the past; I am so glad that I stumbled upon Timeline Cloud, they backup to Amazon S3 so it’s more secure than private storages. Plus I am accessing my data through iPhone anytime anywhere which is really cool. The set up was very quick only took 5 minutes .Definitely recommend checking them out. Does any know how to prepare a data backup plan?

Hello:
I’m new to this forum, so everyone please bear with me. I am looking for SIMPLE backup software that will allow me to choose which files to backup from my hard drives, and network drives, to an external HDD. I would like the software to copy the selected files AND folders to the external HDD, keeping the files and folders in the same format that they now exist on my hard drive, and allowing me to access them from Windows Explorer, just as if they were created on the external HDD in the first place. And, once again, EASE OF USE is a central point.
Anyone have any suggestions???
Hi CruisingWriter and welcome to the forums.
I haven’t used Windows for a couple of years now, but when I did, I used Memeo backup software, which was very easy to configure and (AFAIK) did everything you want it to do. The version I had was included with an external hard-drive I bought, but you can download a free trial version from their Web site, to see if it suits your needs.
