Which is the best affiliate program?

I like clickbank and cj.but you can select others for your affiliate program.

Well for fitness, kitchen, household, kids, beauty and sports related products, As Seen On PC could be termed as highly converting program.

Yeh I wouldn’t say there’s a “best”, just focus on what you want to market then go from there.

Affiliate programs must match the type of visitors you get on your site.

In example for free video chat sites we mainly use as demos for our solutions, got most revenue from AWE and Webcams.

Commission Junction, Amazon and ClickBank are the most popular. Many people work with Google, Pepperjam and eBay too. I’m with Amazon at the moment.

Maybe the question is: What is the best affiliate program for your site?

And if you’re asking about the best program so you can build a site around it… I have one piece of advise… No matter how lucrative an affiliate program’s potential is, you’ll probably not do well unless you like the product.

Like a few people said, there’s no ‘best affiliate program’.

I have found that experimentation is the best way to go when trying to see what works for your site. Many of the affiliate programs I use for some of my sites other people wouldn’t do as good as I am with them.

Often times it is not so much the affiliate program as much as it is your marketing methods and how much traffic you are sending to that affiliate program. You could be signed up with a sponsor that is big and lots of people recommend but you may not do that well if you’re not sending interested visitors there.

Thank you members for your thoughtful reply and I am amazed to see the amount of reply this single thread got here which I created a few months back. However so far amazon and clickbank has worked well for me and now I am thinking to make a try with google affiliate network? Any of you has any experience with it? Please share.

Thanks in advance.

for me [COLOR=Red]Clickbank [COLOR=Black]due to the choice of digital products and the reliability of payments.

Didn’t have any luck with CJ though - I think because my targeted keywords were general for all territories and physical products tend to do better regionally I think simply because of delivery.

Amazon converts really well as for so many people they are a trusted site but the commission rates aren’t that great.

I prefer working with Affiliate2Day.com. I have been working with them for almost a year. They suit me well as I have dating traffic and that’s what they need. If you bring them their targeted traffic you can earn high commissions within a short period of time. Though I have a stable job now, they help me to get my main income from their program.

I’m using a combination of Commission Junction and adsense on one of my sites, but on the others i use only adnetworks.

affiliates and adsense doesn’t work so good on the other sites, I believe it’s because my other sites are without any real content.

Am i right?
