Hello,
I know HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, and MySQL, and with that I can create great websites.
However, these websites aren’t very pretty to look at.
I write code, not design, but I’d like to do both.
Where could I begin?
What’s a good book you would suggest I read to get a grasp on web design?

Jason Beaird’s “Principles of Beautiful Web Design” (a SP book) and Alex Dawson’s “Distinctive Design” are two excellent places to start. You might also go back to a 1997 book by Roger Black, “Web Sites that Work,” for a grounding in fundamental design principles.
I will most definitely look into those. Thanks.
