Im writing an article on web-based sales methods. For research I want to locate some hard data on consumer behaviour when using google to shop for services (not products, necessarily).
The sort of thing I need to find out is; what % of users click in the top results, how many results buyers will open before purchasing, what time they will spend on a website, and particularly, what sort of cues on sites they will look at that will determine conversion/purchase actions.
Does anyone know of a resource with information like this?
Would be hugely grateful for any leads - tight deadline and time-poor so any relevant links or avenues to pursue would be enormously helpful
