Seeking site for popular Ecommerce focused WP Themes - and particular themes, that would enable me to use adsense and affiliate ads - as well provide ‘news’ in addition to my original content to keep content fresh through rss using press release feeds.
Appreciate suggestions, examples of sites using such themes also.

The theme you use dictates only the appearance of your WordPress blog.
Something like creating posts from RSS feeds isn’t an appearance concern, it’s functionality. Look for a plugin, of which there are dozens that do that. There’s a plugin search built into your WordPress admin area.
The ability to use AdSense or affiliate ads is also not something a theme needs to support. It just needs to have a suitable place to put such an ad in its design. Once you find a theme that has a convenient spot, you can paste in the code to display ANY kind of ad.
