When uploading your Facebook photos

…do you resize them manually, or just let Facebook’s machinery do the compression for you?

Just back from a holiday, and interested to know what you guys do. Normally I would have just resized the photos myself to 720x, because some photos randomly became slightly distorted when going the automatic route. However they expanded the size limitations this year on uploaded photos. Thus prompting the question.

What do you do?

I usually resize them to 800px (though I get the impression FB resizes them even further).

Guess there isn’t many Facebook users here then

There are users but I guess that we’re not photo publishing type… or well, those who are don’t visit this part of the forum that often

I tried resizing them at first, but it’s so much work and FB resizes them anyway so why bother. If an odd picture is distorted, you can always fix it and reupload it.

Yeah, I hate to admit but I find myself spending my free online time on FB rather than on SPF. :frowning:

Shame on you, Saul! But I know it… you even changed your picture! :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, I sometimes see you lurking too

I resize them manually. It wasn’t a time consuming at all since I just upload few pictures on FB since I’m not really a “public” person.

I always do designing with photos and then make the uploading on Facebook. So there are so many advantages of it. It looks amazing.
